Yuma County Colorado Treasurer- Live on CollectWare!

Wray, CO and Fort Collins, CO – January 23, 2026:

Harris Govern is pleased to announce that the Yuma County Colorado Treasurer has gone LIVE, on CollectWare, on January 5, 2026, to process the 2025 tax statements in CollectWare.

Yuma County has been incredibly happy with the service and support we have received from Harris Govern during our current software conversion.  All Colorado Treasurers were facing significant challenges going into 2026 due to legislative changes, and Yuma County had concerns regarding our vendor’s ability to meet the new requirements.  Yuma County had been working with Harris Govern on a planned conversion beginning in 2026, and when we brought up our concerns with Richard Beaini in October 2025, he proposed a novel solution of moving forward with our conversion in 2 stages:  going live with Harris Govern January 1st for all current data and processing our 2025 tax statements in CollectWare, followed by a conversion on all historical data to be completed by July of 2026.

In 2 months, Harris Govern was able to assist Yuma County in completing our tax roll and producing our 2025 tax statements in CollectWare.  While our conversion in still ongoing, the team at Harris Govern has provided a level of knowledge, service, and training that is unmatched.  While software conversions are never an easy undertaking, the support of the team at Harris Govern has been critical in making this a successful transition, states the Yuma County, Colorado Treasurer Chrystal Hammond.

Vice President of Major Accounts, Richard Beaini, states: “With the current vendor state, older technology, and the uncertainties that Yuma County faced, I discussed the situation with the Harris Govern implementation team and it was decided to promote to the Yuma County Treasurer & Public Trustee, Mrs. Chrystal Hammond, an innovative solution to have her Office Go Live on CollectWare to process the 2025 tax statements using CollectWare, by breaking the Project into two (2) phases. This approach enabled the Yuma County Treasurer to Go Live with the first phase using CollectWare, a proven and compliant Colorado Treasurer solution. The support provided by our Team, implementation and Support, has been nothing short of phenomenal as all our Colorado Clients attest to our support services as second to none.

With the Yuma County Colorado Assessor already using RealWare for years, the selection of CollectWare by the Yuma County Treasurer, offered both Offices a proven integrated solution driving a more efficient and productive environment. With the integrated solution, there will be:

ZERO data transfers between Offices,

NO wait until year end processes to get the data,

Eradication of redundant data entry (same parcel, same owner, same taxing authorities …),

Removal of any manual paperwork transfer between Offices, and

Elimination of finger pointing, providing a peace of mind to both Offices.

I am very happy that Chrystal trusted my sincerity, honesty, and guidance throughout this process. Thank you Chrystal for your trust and confidence in me and now you are in better hands with our Team.”
