Overview: Data Validation Checks

Data validation checks are tools used to verify data on the system by detecting errors or inconsistencies in the data. The checks ensure the accuracy of data for critical processes such as appraisal exports and supplement acceptance.

PACS Appraisal is provided to you with a preset configuration of all the data validation checks necessary to complete general verification of the system.

Examples of errors that data validation checks may detect are: an assessed value being greater than the market value, missing owner information, and no entities associated with a property.

Architecture

A category comprises individual data validation checks. While each category and each data validation check exists in its own respective view, the view for a category is a union of individual data validation check views.
