Setting Up Inquiry Events Codes

Purpose

Use this procedure to set up event codes. Event codes will track the events that occur during the inquiry process. Examples: requested documents from taxpayer, field check, etc.

The system displays these events in the Event view of the inquiry.

Prerequisites

The user rights required for setting up inquiry codes are assigned to your system ID. For more information about the required user rights, see Setting Up Inquiry Codes.

Procedure

  1. In PACS Appraisal, choose Tools > ARB Maintenance > Inquiry Codes > Events.

    The ARB Inquiry Events window is displayed.

    Note: The codes AUDIO, CLOSE, CREATE, SC, STATCHANGE, and TC are default codes provided with PACS.

  2. Use the following options as required:
