Use this procedure to print letters for business owners who have requested a filing extension from May 15th to May 30th.
You can use the letter to notify the owner that their extension request has either been granted or denied.
Letters to be used for BPP rendition processing must have been set up with the Letter Maintenance activity (Tools > Letter Processing Maintenance > Letter Maintenance) and the BPP Letter Maintenance activity (Tools > Letter Processing Maintenance > BPP Letter Maintenance). For information about setting up the letters, see the Letter Processing User Guide.
The BPP Letter Processing – May 30th Extension dialog box is displayed.
In the May 30th Extension Status drop-down, select one of the following business categories to send a letter to:
Note Your appraisal district may have created other categories to choose from.
A message is displayed indicating that the system is printing the letters.
